You have now installed RealPlayer and are ready to configure it. RealPlayer should have automatically launched, with a display similar to the image on the left. If you do not have Macromedia Flash Player installed, you may be prompted to do so at this point.

The bottom part of the display is used for flashy information that is not useful for most streaming media needs. To close it, click the "X" button, highlighted in green.

Your display should now look like this.

Select the "Tools" pull-down menu, highlighted in green.

Select the "Preferences" section of the menu.
