Welcome to my SCUBA home page. These pages will probably not win any award for beautiful layout and pretty pictures, but they are full of information. I encourage you to poke around and explore on your own if you want to know more about scuba, but if you're looking for nice graphics, there aren't any here. Like most pages on the web, many of these are under construction with more on the way all the time. If there is anything in particular that you want and you think it will fit in with what is already here, let me know. In some areas, most notably the safety area, I am looking for submissions to increase the information presented. Enjoy yourself, and come back soon.

SCUBA Diving Safety - This was my original page and covers primarily dive rescue techniques.
Information on scuba instruction through SCVT - I teach scuba through the Scuba Club of Virginia Tech. This area contains information for potential and current students.

Military Diving Manual (pdf ), also see Change 1 to FM 20-11, dated 14 April 2000, which in not incorporated in the main manual - This is the latest addition to this site. I don't know if I'll keep it here, but since I was reading it, couldn't find a served copy on the web, and had the disk space, I put it here. This is the Army's version of the U.S. Navy Diving Manual and has a few minor changes as noted in the first few pages. I got it from an Army site since the Navy didn't have it anywhere, you can download your own copy of FM 20-11 from the General Dennis J. Reimer Training & Doctrine Digital Library. UPDATE: Someone in the Navy finally put a copy on line, you can use this link for the Diving Manual if the other isn't working.
