What the Open Water Certification does for you

So you're not sure what Open Water Certification is all about. I'll try to answer the most common question here.

Equipment you will need

Although much of the equipment is supplied by the Scuba Club for your instruction, you will need to have some basic equipment of your own.

What's it gonna cost?

Of course there is no free lunch in this world. So there are no surprises, you should know what the required, optional, and possible costs will be during your certification class.

Your first class session

Just to be sure you understand what will happen and be required of you in your first class session on the way to becomming and Open Water Diver, I have provided some general information.

The legal stuff

Diving has an excellent safety record, but we need to be sure you are ready both physically and mentally to enter the sport.
