Interactive Videoconferencing Room Operations

VBS operates distance learning classrooms throughout the state, and is piloting videoconferenced classes with Wake Forest and Boise State. Instructor training and technical assistance is available for videoconferencing equipment, as well as design tips on educational meterials. Our facilities are also used for meetings, presentations, interviews, and any other videoconferencing needs that Virginia Tech requires.

VBS engages in research and development of new technology, equipment, and techniques to best serve faculty and students.

VBS also provides scheduling, bridging support, and technical support for videoconferencing sites.
